when i watched him spear that mastodon...although i've been known to be mistaken before...

more seriously(?), i had been familiar with the name Lon Milo Duquette for a few years, mainly from 2012 when i purchased the illustrated goetia book,

 but what got me hooked as a fan was discovering his music earlier this year; the first song i heard was "Don't Write Me Off", and i thought, gee, i'd like to be a pool of ancient wisdom too.
