In my opinion, this site should accomplish 3 objectives:
1. Promoting Lon/Lon's vast body of work
2. Making $
3. Giving fans a reason to keep coming back
What about a storefront? CD's, Tee shirts, shot glasses, key chains, etc BUT very small runs or even print on demand type of runs to minimize tying up cash in inventory until you know how it moves.
Sales could be promoted by adding incentives, like every 93rd or 666th purchase receives... lol
Also, additional traffic might be achieved by inviting fans to send pictures of Lon to be added to a gallery of pictures on the site. Possibly even a favorite picture contest?
Occasionally having Lon write a brief article or give a brief interview about one of his songs might be a really good idea. You could start with Sweet Babalon, which will not only promote the new album, but it also connects directly to his Thelemic audience.
I, for one, have always wanted to hear the back story to "Porno Queen" lol
Another idea.... a LON IS LIVE album of all live tracks available only at the storefront (at least for a while anyway).
I also imagine being able to purchase Tarot readings and gift certificates on the site...
